some small works, the first one done alla prima direct observation on a white ground.
next one is a done from another work, procedure is a couple of steps
1 toned ground, ochre + white 2 darks and the lemon shape white 3 lemon shape underpainted with red ochre washes 4 darks darker, some grey work and the lemon overpainting.
